Reflections & Impact
As one of the early designers, part of a four-person team at the company’s start, I collaborated closely with the VP of Design to shape impactful solutions for financial data connectivity. Our team’s work reached over 22 million users and numerous financial institutions, helping them navigate open banking with clarity and confidence. We established strong design standards for presenting complex financial data, focusing on security, usability, and trust. These efforts improved the experience for both partners and end users, strengthened Finicity’s position in the financial industry, and played a role in its $825 million acquisition by Mastercard in 2020.
